Rainbow was an
experiment doll. She was the first doll I tested everything
on.
I expected her to be a throw away because her hair had been
cut so short,
that it was bald in back and I didn't think that I couldn't fix it.
I tested colored markers for hair color options on it instead. The
body had a broken neck post and chewed feet.
I used it to
experiment with heat setting body parts into new positions.
My first attempts were failures! As you can see by her melted
fingers and elbow.
A while later I decided it was time to give her an updated look and fix everything that was wrong with her.
Here is the New Rainbow!

She has a new body, one arm has been straightened and her fingers have been repositioned for a more natural look and pose. (no more melt marks!)
This is the
same head as before, but....She got new hair re-rooted and styled
to suit her personality, of course it still had to be rainbow colors!
She also has new crystal earrings that fit her style.

The back of her head shows
that her hair is short but no longer bald!
It wasn't easy to get that spiky hair to go in the pattern I wanted it
to.
But the end result does look FUN and fits Rainbow perfectly.

Being the local salon owner, I
felt she needed long fingernails!

The final touch is an ankle
tattoo!
